In our line of work, it’s not often you get a do-over. The original Citrus and Salt was a quick flip. We had a tight timeline, a small budget, and a room that could not have been further away from our targeted design. When we got the call telling us their lease was up and a new spot was needed, we worried about what was in store. However…this time, we had a little time… we also were given a (slightly) bigger budget and the chance to do mostly what we wanted to. Moral of this story? The sequel doesn’t have to suck. Figure out what people liked and what they didn’t, then get to work! Pink trees help too…
