Desnuda is Spanish for “naked”. When the Mazi Restaurant Group reached out to us and asked us to help them with their latest concept we were thrilled. A legendary South End corner storefront desperate for new energy. Two floors, but very tight. We worked with ownership to develop two complimentary attitudes that could support an energetic upstairs cafe and dining room, as well as a sexy underground record lounge. The upstairs feels like champagne…sparkling, light and airy, but celebratory. The downstairs is moody, dark, and feels like the perfect place to hide away with a passionate lover…of music.
