Capri’s sprawling two-story Harrison Avenue space is as much a part of the experience as the food. - Boston Magazine

Capri is like a Sophia Lauren film, its classic, a little bit sassy, and always fun to watch. Tucked between Boston’s South End and South Boston proper, Capri is located in the heart of Boston’s fashionable SOWA Art + Design district. (As if we needed an reason to get all dressed up). The meticulously restored main dining room and two story grand atrium piano bar overlook a sprawling al fresco dining patio anchored by a large full service Cabana Bar and towering field stone fireplace.
We’ve been very lucky to have a long standing working relationship with this amazing crew. And with each individual restaurant build out we do with them, we seek to create a space that has a unique personality and story to tell. At Capri, not only did we want to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but also a space where guests could have a variety of dining experiences under one big umbrella. Pun intended, of course. The space itselt is beautiful. It’s a stunning mix of rustic mill and modern industrial. We wanted the design to celebrate the older, more well-seasoned details in the room, while softening some of the more industrial ones. An infusion of warm woods, dramatic velvet curtains, and plush wraparound booths set the tone and hopefully compliment the original brick walls and wood beam ceiling.
